Featured on “The Brooklyn Nomad”

It’s a great honor to be featured as a guest travel writer & photographer on the wonderful travel site: The Brooklyn Nomad!!  Andrew, like myself, is an avid traveler – only, he makes a little more money than I do off of this pursuit and he’s a bit more of a pro at it than I can claim to yet be.  Translation: Andrew is an actual travel writer actually living the dream of full time travel. I dabble in getting paid to travel…mainly I just simply LOVE to travel!!!  Check out my “Guest Nomad” post on Andrew’s site.  As well as my Sunday Travel Shot here.  And leave Andrew some love on the other posts as well…he’s just celebrating a year with his site and you’d never know it by the professionalism it exudes!

Thank you, again, Andrew and Congratulations on 1 Year in the sometimes challenging (but always rewarding) blogosphere!

The Jetpacker - Great finds, Kirsten! Did you find most of the public art in the Mission district?

We visited San Francisco as part of our Olympic road trip, but the only public art we ran into was the amazing Women’s Building.March 9, 2010 – 11:00 pm

Dee Andrews - Love these photos and the public art they showcase! You have a great eye, Kirsten.

Wanted to let you know this post is included in my edition of Carnival of Cities at http://travelandtravails.com/opinions/carnival-of-cities/

Check it and other great travel ideas out… viking ships, carnival food and pigeons in Delhi to name a few!March 10, 2010 – 11:46 am
