I've been beaten and bruised by love but I am still a believer. I am a photographer & a travel writer. And a lover of adventure. I am a sister, daughter and a friend. I am currently based in the Midwest but in the process of moving to New York City. Along the way I'll be traveling the US and some of Europe. I'm booking for 2011 all over the USA with jobs already in 4 states. When I'm not planning my next trip or taking photographs and writing stories...I am usually reading, cooking, or soaking up quality time with my family and friends who are [sadly] scattered to the four winds. I do all this with a soundtrack and my iPhone close at hand!

I also love to give back and am constantly on the look out for charities to support. Currently, I buy Toms Shoes and I give to Charity: Water. These are such a simple things: shoes and clean water. Yet so many are without them around the world. We can all help! Won't you join me?

Angie & Jamin – Ohio Engagement Session

I was quite excited to photograph this engagement session when Angie suggested we meet in the town she lives in: Chagrin Falls! It had been about a year since I was in downtown Chagrin Falls and it’s a town I just completely adore. Of course, after we concluded our afternoon together – I had to spend some time around town exploring, shopping & eating! I’m very much looking forward to meeting Angie and Jamin in Florida to photograph their destination wedding - thanks for asking me Angie!! See you very soon!!

Sarah & Mark – Akron Engagement Session

I met Sarah & Mark at Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens on a gloomy Thursday. It was actually good for the photographs – soft, diffused lighting! And then, it also created this gloomy dramatic sky for the background of some of the images. We had a great time together and I am definitely sold on Stan Hywet being a truly fabulous place for a portrait session in NE Ohio! Can’t wait to shoot the wedding you two! Had a total blast hanging out with you!! (Also, can’t wait to shoot again at Stan Hywet in a few weeks for another couple’s wedding!!)
