Trevor and Sami had a vow renewal/celebration ceremony for their friends and family in Plymouth, MI following their civil ceremony that was held for military purposes earlier in the year. It was a truly beautiful summer evening under the stars at Sami’s grandmother’s home, with a color scheme to match the military…but without all the attention being on the military. Trevor proudly serves in the Air Force yet Sami wanted a day that was traditional in its beauty and focus so the only real nod to the Air Force was the song the couple entered to for the reception and the super cool topper that adorned their wedding cake! The theme and design was pulled together beautifully by all involved with an extra portion of work done by the groom’s mother: Janisse Lahti Larsson, an artist and interior designer of “Paint the Night“.

I should add: Trevor is my baby brother and Sami my new SISTER IN LAW!!! And Dan Fenderson very capably second shot for me on a portion of this wedding so that I’d have a chance to be the sister of the bride and not just the photographer [for at least part of the day]!!
